Late Victorian Family Terrace, Full Home Renovation

A full ‘back to brick’ renovation and extension of this Edwardian terrace, previously bedsits for 20 years, to create a practical yet stylish home, reinstating classic detailing with a modern edge.
The project included design and planning, a fully managed build and the design and sourcing of interiors.

Shaker kitchen cabinets were painted in a deep green to highlight the brass hardware. Carrara marble worktops and reclaimed oak on the island complete the scheme for a bespoke individual finish.

A rear extension created space for the kitchen / dining living room. Bespoke wooden french doors and windows connect the house with the garden, whilst echoing the period features in the rest of the house.

Family storage was created with the use of wall mounted coat hooks and a vintage bench

A new hardwood stained glass door replaced the 70's glazed unit previously installed. Panelling was built in the hall to add grandeur and provide practicality.

Storage was paramount in the hallway. A traditional radiator cover provides a spot to drop keys and under stairs space was used to create a shoe drawer and full height cupboard.

The cloakroom has unexpected colour and pattern with the use of a William Morris wallpaper and ochre paintwork. These complement the traditional brass hardware.
