The client also requested the importance of an al fresco living space, which lead to the creation of the dedicated shisha room.

The colour pop palette refers to the Middle East once again, with the tones of Schiaparelli pink and deep purple, echoed in the client’s own metallic butterfly sculpture, mounted above the sofa. A backlit quartz bar completes the room.

There is a u-turn from this in the undeniable masculine crisp, navy guest bedroom which features an equestrian theme afforded by the horse racing wall covering by Hermès and a bedside lamp with a brass stirrup motif.

Another room has an innately feminine feel with an unusual pale violet palette, with Rubelli and Lizzo fabrics. All the headboards and cabinetry are bespoke and are finished in sumptuous velvets, crocodile and snake skin as well as leathers and suedes.

The huge reception room has a fresh, light palette, ranging from champagne to creamy lattès. The latter being brought in, in a large way, by the two deep buttoned floating sofas and arm chairs, all by Ipe Cavalli, upholstered in butter-coloured Italian leather.

Mother of pearl inlays and door furniture adorn the bespoke cabinetry in the marble floored entrance hall.

The cabinetry incorporates two supersized coat cupboards, with doors in high gloss lacquer, inlayed with mirror and tactile Shagreen leather. Lit apertures display stunning objets by Michael Aram and L’Objet.
