The brief: To create a small and elegant garden to entertain friends and family
The design process: After presenting three sketches proposals , the client went for a rectangulat and minimal space. Three tree ferns were used in the front wall to create drama and interestest. Two seats were built to create a seating area for entertaing
Major Hard landscape materials: Jura limestone and western red cedar
Major Soft landscape materials: Dicksonia antartica, phormium and liriope muscari
Final result: A small garden with a bold approach to plants, subtle lighting effect and materials.
