We lived near Newbury in Berkshire for nearly 7 years now - gradually doing up our house & creating a beautiful formal garden.
We made fabulous beds of ornamental grasses & topiary pompoms, a lovely parterre & dining terrace, a wild flower meadow, knot garden & courtyard, herb gardens with candelabra apple trees & beautiful sightlines. There is a large working area with big shed behind a very smart hornbeam hedge. It's around 3/4 of an acre & is completely private.
