The concept of a Peace Pavilion for the Sydney Olympics came in a meditation. My initial design sketches were submitted for the Olympic Village and further meetings were had with planning authorities and Premier Bob Carr. After project managing the pavilion in conjunction with Tonkin Zulaikha Architects construction was completed in Centennial Park Sydney for the Olympics and later relocated to the Gold Coast Arts Centre on the Nerang River. The Peace Pavilion structure is open to receive the energies of spirit as well as communities. It is used for meditation and prayer, interfaith events, workshops and musical recitals.
