Quince Tree Cottage
A large extension to an old Cotswold cottage. The idea was to build a new Cotswold stone building next to the original house and join the new and the old with a glazed link. Rather than try to match the stone of the original it was decided to build the new extension with a drystone facing to contrast the old house. Sliding-folding doors open at a corner to allow the kitchen/dining room to spill out into the garden. Millar Howard Workshop also helped to build the oak bridge that links the house with the road behind.
