Swathes of underplanted quantities of bright yellow tulips and soft white narcissus look wonderful with the Amelanchier x lamarckii blossom, and herald the return of spring.

Amelanchiers were underplanted with ferns, Astrantia, Geranium and Centranthus ruber ‘Albus’ – making for an easy to maintain, long flowering scheme which lifts the largely shady space whilst providing nectar for pollinators.
