The light boxes are a perfect way to enjoy Kate’s work. The illumination allows you in closer to when the photograph was originally taken. Water images take on a deeper dimension with mesmerising effect. Urban images feel more dynamic. Two pieces of the work are sandwiched between acrylic and bolted together. The light appears to make the images look like your seeing straight through the blocks.
