Stow Barn, Gloucestershire

This spacious barn needed to become a cosy country retreat where our clients could gather with friends and family. The project was mainly cosmetic, so the property received a complete re-decoration along with new carpet and flooring throughout. We then went on to fill the home with beautiful pieces of furniture, much of which was designed as bespoke items to suit the clients and provide something unique. Furthermore, our clients were happy to be playful with fabrics & colours, which created the friendly, family home they wanted.

KITCHEN / DINING. Within this Kitchen we changed the colour of the AGA (which was originally red) and replaced the existing splash back with fun geometric tiles. All the furniture was bespoke and made by local craftsmen and embroidered curtains brought the whole room together.

LIBRARY / STUDY. This room had the danger of becoming a corridor but by creating a creating a reading space and study we were able to give it a specific use within the home.

DINING ROOM. When our clients took on this property, the Dining Room was one of the darkest rooms within the barn. But with white walls and bright soft furnishings we were able to brighten the space. The dining table and dresser were both made as bespoke pieces by a local craftsman.

SITTING ROOM. As our clients were not afraid to select some striking fabrics, this poppy velvet looks stunning on the Drawing Room sofas. As with most of the furniture, this dresser was a bespoke piece made by a local craftsman.

GUEST BEDROOM. This Guest Bedroom was adjacent to the Kitchen and therefore we continued the use of colours into blue painted walls, a blue upholstered headboard and bright soft furnishings.
