Tasman Road, Clapham

An edgy and contemporary look for a ground floor renovation and rear extension on Tasman road.
With dark blueish-grey walls, soft furniture in complementing tones and the occasional warm splash of colour - this space has a sleek, modern feel.
At the same time, the kitchen provides a beautiful contrast. With its snow-white walls, splash-back of yellow bricks and furniture with clean, minimalistic style, it creates a seamless mixture of the ultra-modern with just hints of rustic.

The dark, blue-grey walls and stylish complementing furniture is almost paradoxically lit up by the huge bey window, creating a cozy living room atmosphere which, when mixed with the wall-mounted neon sign and other decorative pieces comes off as edgy, without loosing it's previous appeal.

Focusing on the kitchen side of the extension, this shot emphasises the role of the island in both mounting the induction cooktop, with its' extractor hanging above, and providing a border between the cooking and dining areas.

Opposite the kitchen island is the long dining table with its peculiar aspects - the stone slab acting as one side's seating, and the curious chandeliers made of reclaimed glass bottles. This gives the entire room a contemporary industrial aspect.
