The Lodge Hotel - Urban London Style
The Lodge Hotel built an extension encompassing 20 new bedrooms.
Our design brief was Urban London. It was quite an open brief and we had the ability to design the concept how we wanted. We did the interior and furniture procurement, working alongside the project's architects.
After we did our research for this design style, we found it to be gritty and grimy. So we altered the brief to appeal to the owner's regular clients of inner city dwellers 'city swish' look.
We used leather-effect wallpapers, cladded walls, herringbone, pin stripes. We mixed these luxury fabrics with industrial materials e.g. desks with metal/iron details mixed with classic walnut features.
