A new build coastal home overlooking the mouth of Salcombe habour in South Devon. The design balances a traditional coastal aesthetic with contemporary design and detailing to create a modern yet welcoming home. Bedrooms on the ground floor access the raised garden terrace, whilst the primary first floor accommodation is designed around an open plan configuration and substantial balcony area which is large enough to accommodate outside living. The feature staircase was a bespoke design and fabricated by the main contractor, and creates a stunning feature within the double height entrance hall. The Lookout was shortlisted as a finalist for the SW England 2014 LABC Building Excellence Awards
