This bathroom renovation project involved transforming an outdated space into a timeless Victorian-style bathroom in a charming Brockley home. The clients were keen to maintain the traditional character of their property by preserving original features — including the beautiful period fireplace — while seamlessly incorporating modern upgrades for enhanced comfort.

The design centred around classic white subway tiles with contrasting black accents, evoking a true Victorian aesthetic. The shower area was enlarged to create a more functional layout and now features a built-in niche for practical storage of toiletries.

A standout feature of the room is the elegant freestanding bathtub with decorative legs, paired with a period-style washbasin that further reinforces the historical charm of the space. To soften the contrast and add warmth, the walls were painted a delicate sage green, striking the perfect balance between heritage design and contemporary elegance.
