Westbourne Park Road

Westbourne Park Road is a large three storey semi-detached house, located in the Westbourne Conservation Area of Westminster.

When the project began, the property was subdivided into three flats. The clients’ sought to restore the property back into its original design of a single dwelling house, together with the addition of a new single storey basement and rear/side extension.

Our designs created a split between social and private spaces. The public rooms, such as the study, living room, dining room, kitchen, WC and another small study are located at ground and basement level with the private rooms will occupy both the first and second floors.

The new rear extension accommodates the new dining room, the small study with generous openings facing the back garden, and a secondary stair for basement access. Above the dining room is a new glazed roof to bring in more natural light into the living room as well as standing as a beautifully crafted architectural focal point.
