The downstairs toilet - which was in the middle of the house, this needed to be relocated to allow access to the rear of the property to create a better flow for the family.

The property

The provision of a family area was a key component of the design. This space used to open on to the lounge through the arch. Providing two separate spaces allowed the children some space and the adults a room to relax in which was now separate.

The new lounge for the grown-ups

The clients wanted to keep the area light. By adding an accent wall in Hague Blue -Farrow and Ball and some darker furniture the room is pulled together and grounded.
