Last week I had the privilege and pleasure of photographing one of the most iconic properties in Topsham. Wixels is 100% unique in every way. Not many years ago, it was their dream retirement home of 25 years to Christopher (Triff) and Mary Lambert who were avid sailors and artists extraordinaire! The house is virtually identical to how it once was following Triffs sad passing in 2017. It was the perfect backdrop for Mary & Triff who had retired to Topsham from his architects firm in Norfolk. They both fell madly in love with the incredible Dutch-inspired collection of 18th & 19th-century workshops and buildings that had been grouped into a dwelling back in the 1920s. Triff went into overdrive when they moved in and created 100’s and 100’s of paintings and sculptural works of art.
