Someone had commented that pale colours do not work in hot countries. Here is a photos taken in Crete recently where the temperatures were between 32 to 34 degrees and these colours look stunning. It's about using the right colours and shades.

The comment was mine and I said 'pastels' not pale colours. The 'pale' colours in Crete are mostly washed-out ochres and
dusky pinks. They also use yellow and pale blues and greens but
nothing like our pallid pastels.

3G Design how do you define Pastel to Pale ? Pastel and pale are fairly similar to me. They only point of difference would be that Pastel would describe a more powdery chalky texture. This is however only my opinion.

Pallid pastels are totally different. They are would be totally washed out colours.

This is why I suggest (as in my previous comment) to always test the colours through a period of time and seasons as colours do change as the natural light changes.
