A beautiful large space that needed to be broken up, each section had something to look at, the journey through the garden took you through winding paths, past large trees and lush planting. A private seating area tucked away at the rear of the garden being the real treat at the end.

These pearl grey marble effect floor tiles have it all – stylish good looks, hardwearing durability at a budget friendly price. With subtle colouring and stunning pattern variation between tiles, they wonderfully capture the beauty of marble, in a quality porcelain. So you get to enjoy all the elegance without the maintenance and hefty price tag. Available in a modern 60 x 60 format, and with a sophisticated gloss finish they will add a luxurious ‘wow’ to any space. But please bear in mind a gloss surface may not be suitable for all spaces. With precision cut, rectified edges, (which allows for narrower grout lines), they are perfect for large open plan areas where a polished seamless design is desired, especially if you choose a matching grout colour. For tiling advice and free cut tile samples of these grey marble effect floor tiles please contact the Direct Tile Warehouse team.

A truly unique project for esteemed designer, Ashton Taylor-Smith in his new home. The apartment is a section of the Robert Adam-designed country house which was built in 1780 and was once home to George III’s physician, John Turton, as well as the exiled Emperor Napoleon III. Our brief was to repurpose the 18th Century period grand salon for the 21st Century and design a kitchen to fit an entirely new location at the rear of the property, with southerly views out through the Tunbridge Wells sandstone Palladian portico to the rolling parkland beyond.

Sleek bathroom renovations speak to clean lines and minimalist elegance. Frameless glass showers and floating vanities will undoubtedly create a wide-open, airy feeling; functionality is furthered with wall-mounted faucets and seamless storage. A neutral colour palette, large mirrors, and LED lighting bring in modern sophistication. Now, to top off the refined touch, adding luxury tiles, marble countertops, and matte finishes provides this bathroom with a spa-like retreat for the combination of style and practicality. A wardrobe makeover will provide a space where maximum utilisation of storage and organisation can be done, adding to aesthetic appeal. With custom shelving, installed drawers, and style-rich finishes, a very functional and beautiful area that shows off personal style while making daily routines easier.

A large country house in the city of Wells required a particularly sensitive treatment to ensure that any new extension blended into the surroundings. We developed a bespoke design influenced by traditional eighteenth century orangeries to create this impressive design. The look and feel of a traditional orangery has changed gradually over many decades, keeping pace with taste and technology. As you can see, David Salisbury offers elegant interpretations of the orangery concept that echoes the structure’s design ancestry. "The new space gained feels very much part of the existing house."
