I removed 62 spotlights from our new house which involved plastering over 62 holes. I am just slightly obsessed with lighting and I really dislike LED's in general. In the room that I do have some spotlights I would say that on their own they cast a useful light but feel flat so rarely use them. Things really come to life with wall lights either side of a bed and lamps. I have used Collingwood Deco spots lights as they give a warm light which is pleasant, I also have TALA lights which come in different types. The dim to warm I find the most useful.

I removed 8 from this room and only have the ones I do because the holes were already there. It's a big room so they are useful above the wardrobes. Just be careful though, they highlight things so can work above a painting or a really deep coloured wall but too near a boring door and that could be a regret.
