This is a Hunter Douglas Pleated Shade, Style is Botanicals color is Lotus. They are not available in a blackout option but is a medium in opacity rating. Samples can be ordered through Hunter Douglas at www.hunterdouglas.com. Thanks for your interest!

I would replace the light bulbs with LED bulbs so you'll get a brighter fresher light. You can get LED's in just about any size these days. I'd recommend white drapes. You can choose inexpensive white fabric but make sure you order enough yardage so that they can be made very full and luxurious.

Emmaline O, if you like that colour, try a few white testers by Farrow&ball- shaded white, cornflour white etc. Usually I buy about 5 samples while deciding on colour. You might never know which one will look best in a particular room/lighting, until you try. I wanted to paint my son’s bedroom in a moss green colour, but ended up with blue green from f&b after trying five different shades. Moss green looked depressing in the dark narrow room, but all my family loved the blue green.

Hi James, you've asked three separate questions about what I think is the same room. No problem with number of threads but rather than thinking / asking "what should I do with THIS wall", it's much better to look at the room as a whole. Clear everything out of the room that really shouldn't be there like clothes airers and football kit (dogs and cats can stay...), then take a photo of each wall from as far back as possible. Including the floor in the photo is more useful than the ceiling. Add close ups of anything important like a fire. Quick sketch of the room is useful if it isn't obvious how the wall photos join up. Mark radiators and window on the sketch. Mention things that HAVE to stay, and others that can go or be replaced. Then you might get more relevant advice

Hedgehog, thanks, I do have a sample from our window supplier.....but its a strip of uPVC window frame and downstairs fit in my handbag! Lol 😆 I guess that will have to do, just trying to decide on garage door and front door options to match new windows which won't be fitted for another 2 months maybe.
