want to merge to spaces

hi
in my new house i have small living room attahed to two bed rooms and kitchen and another multipurpose small room, i am looking for arrangements in such way that small multipurpose small room can be use as part of living room for bigger feel and also be use as guest room when needed
i hope you guys will suggest me wonderful ideas

Sliding partition doors would provide the flexibility needed.

It all depends on the way you want to live in but any bespoke progressive design is your best option. Multipurpose pieces like wallbeds, convertible storage or sliding bookshelves and sliding partitions can adapt to your lifestyle without compromising aesthetics.

Hi Mariana, Unfortunately you cannot merge your two profiles and keep all your content. You can move photos and reviews across, but you will lose your followers and comments. When it comes to moving photos, you can choose to collaborate on the Ideabooks of your choice with your new profile, and then move the photos to an existing or new Ideabook on your current profile. To collaborate, click the Collaborate tab underneath the Ideabook title and type in your new profile name. To move photos, click the Edit tab and then the 'Move Photos to' button, which will let you select photos and choose the Ideabooks you'd like to relocate them to. In regards to moving reviews over, this is something we can do for you. Please get in touch with us at uksupport [at] houzz.com. I must admit I would go for a screen similar to that shown in the 2nd pic by man about the house. In terms of making it feel more spacious then larger tiles typically work with the tiles run horizontally to the long walls on the floor and then horizontal on the walls. You could keep walls and floors the same or go for something different on the walls but with little contrast. I'd have a really large mirror on one of the long walls. A floating trough style vanity rather than floor standing. I'd also go for the shower head on either long wall so you can have a niche for shampoo etc on the end wall

I’m no good at drawing floorplans but womdered if this would work: - Keep the island but turn it 90 degrees to face the garden. You will probably need to drop to 2 bar stools - Shorten the kitchen run with the sink and hob on it. One of those may need to go on the island - Dining table goes in front of the doors to the garden, parallel to the island and to the doors - then in the space in between your island and your dining table, basically under the big steel, you put a small sofa on the kitchen side of the room and a tv on the opposite wall. Yes it’s a walk way but this is not your main tv watching area, it’s just for the kids while you prep lunch etc.

It depends how bright you'd like to go? Natural tones are very popular at the moment. I'm thinking something you could swap out if you get tired of it. Brighter cushions maybe and a much brighter rug on top of yours in a smaller size. You could leave everything and put all your effort into brightening up your built in bookcases either side. Even your book spines are muted. Start small with a few brighter books and see if you like it first. You have one accent orange cushion maybe carry on with that idea. Even a brightly coloured plant or flowers on the table would lift it.
