POLL: TV in the bedroom - yay or nay?
Comments (51)I had a TV in my bedroom for most of my adult life, because I was living in a house share or a studio. Whenever I've lived in my own home - which I have for the last fifteen years - and had a separate bedroom, I've not had a TV in the bedroom. I haven't had one for the last eight years and I would hate to have one again. It's sort of intrusive and it has a negative impact on my sleep. I have a radio next to my bed and will listen to that quietly because it can be soothing. I love watching TV, just not where I sleep....See MorePOLL: Do you change your home according to the seasons?
Comments (44)Yes, absolutely. Decorating for the seasonal festive i.e. Halloween or Christmas is also a big part of showing your unique style in how you decorate....See MoreHouzz Advent Calendar: December 10th - Win a candle by SKANDINAVISK!

Comments (17)I absolutely love Christmas lights, and it doesn't matter what colour or style, the more the merrier. I've only got one issue: Please people, take them down in January at the latest. By all means go all out from December til 12th night, in fact I applaud you, but if there's one thing I hate is defunct Christmas decorations hanging round in April. In fact I've seen some people leave them up all year and they think as long as they don't switch them on it's OK. No, sorry, we can still see them....And you're killing the magic!...See MoreVictoria Harrison
