Should I put in a picture wall? How?

I have a wall next to an open brick wall (first picture) that I want to cover with photos. I've uploaded a few of the pictures to give you an idea of the type of photos I mean. I'd like to make it like the photographs are wallpaper.
Do you think this would work?
Practically, I'd also appreciate advice on priming steps, paper to get them printed on and where to get them printed (I'm in the UK). The budget is as low as possible to get a good quality!

I think that the pattern would be very distracting and may create confusion to the eye. Is there anywhere else you could put it? Comments (1)Hi Phil, So you already have a picture to put in the left alcove? I would then recommend to have same size picture in the right alcove and in same/similar frame. In this case the actual picture can be anything that suits your taste: photograph, painting, colourful, black and white, depends what you like. Firstly, consider the view from the doorway and maybe consider putting the (free-standing?) bath in the centre of the main wall opposite the door. Then position the (walk-in) shower where you currently have the double basin. Your loo could be quite near the shower screen, under the window, leaving space on the same wall for the double-basin. Comments (2)This is the wall I would like to hang the mirror on. I have an eero sarinen tulip table in front and then a circular pendant light yet to be fitted. So my thoughts are to stay away from round mirrors. Ideally, I wanted to cover the full wall but how can I work around the switches without removing them. Any ideas? Thanks...See MoreFe

7 years agoAn interesting mirror could look nice, depending on your style. It will bring more light.
On other hand you could get some old frames from eBay, very cheap like £1 or so and get classic prints and local paintings, family portraits etc.
