Hi, I'm not sure why a radiator heated from the central heating would not be permitted. I'm not aware of any water regulations that would stop it (that's not saying there aren't!). What reason was given? Will the radiator be directly over the bath or on the wall lower than the bath? Electrically, there are zones in a bathroom. Any electrical equipment placed inside a zone must be suitable for that zone. Here is an explanation of the zones: http://electrical.theiet.org/wiring-matters/53/section-701/index.cfm I suspect that the radiator would be in zone 1, possibly zone 2. The radiator (and wiring supplying it) to be suitable for that zone. My thoughts are to check with a radiator manufacturer about installing a plumbed radiator next to the bath and see what they say. I searched everywhere for a round extending glass table and eventually found this ingenious piece of engineering of an extending table. It extends into a large oval and I have seated upto 10 people around it . It cost a lot of money but I love it, only downside is it takes a lot to keep it looking sparkling clean. Also you can keep an eye on your guest and see if anyone is playing footsie under the table. I have moved several times with this table and it has fitted in perfectly in every home. It also gets a lot of ohh's and ahh's when you show people how it extends. It is worth every substantial penny I bought it for.

Love the new vanity unit - looks very like a Burlington one we're about to bring into our showroom! Regarding mirrors - in theory, you could get away with two 500w x 700 tall mirrors, but I think that would be pushing it. I'd go narrower, but if you can keep 700 high (ir higher), I think it would give you a really good, architectural feel. Alternatively, you could opt for a couple of oval mirrors like these: Which would echo the curved of your basins. These ones shown come from Miller Bathrooms of Sweden and are of excellent quality. They also do some nice square & smaller rectangular ones which would work size-wise. Their website is here - feel free to get in touch if you wish us to quote. As to copper - I too love it, especially in a bathroom, but I don't currently have anything to offer with copper on the mirror itself. I'd suggest considering keeping the mirrors plainer, but bringing copper into the lighting & accessories - more like your 2nd image. Caldicot Kitchens

Hi Jenny, We went through a very similar process 6 months ago (and are still mid renovation) so can share our experience with you if it helps. We went around and around in terms of what and who you need and in what order, including architect, structural engineer and Interior designer and found it very difficult to work out what we needed. With some help we got there in the end and have learnt quite a bit in the process about the different options and also costs!!! There are probably a couple of questions that are key before anyone can really share any helpful advice ... Do you need planning permission for any of the renovations you want to do? Do any of the alterations you want to make include structural walls? (If you don't know that's fine and also helps determine who you need to consult) Do you want creative input / design advice on actual layout or do you already know what you want to do? (Again if you don't know then that also helps determine who you need to consult) Once people know a bit of the above I'm sure we can help :)
