I have made bespoke headboards before not quite as big as you are looking for. They were then upholstered by a local company to where I was working. This was built and secured directly to the wall and the bed then pushed up to. I would then make a framed mirror to be fitted before the upholsterer has done their bit and the fabric can be finished off around the frame of the mirrors to make it look built in rather than an add on. Are you wanting the mirrors on the ends of the head board or the face over the bed?

I would go with three or five, beautiful restful colours. I would also align the tables and lamps to the centre of each panel. Would that mean getting a bigger bed? I recently downsized from super king to king and now can’t wait for an excuse to go back to super king. Chandelier looks fabulous!

Ah you are very welcome! Yes it does look like you could center it on that wall then and add shelves. If you can't find vintage ones you could use new wood and paint them to match and add some decorative finishes to it. I would use white sheets & duvet & cushions & throw in the blue/grey colours that are the colours of the headboard. You also want to keep the bedding pretty neutral so as to not detract from the focal point of the room - the amazing headboard. Hope this helps. https://www.ginarileyinteriors.com
