This is the most perfect shade of green for my hallway. Could you please tell me the colour?

Our doors were featured in this photograph, with the hallway scene already pre-built prior to our doors being hung. Unfortunately, we are not privy to the décor and furnishings used as these are purchased by those who create the hallway set.

I would also go with eggshell. Gloss will be the most durable but is a fairly dated look (although due to the fact that most of us have houses with glossed woodwork we will see it around for quite some time yet.) Eggshell is far more in trend for the woodwork.

3 kids but no dog, I use silk because it's hard wearing and also washable, think you can now buy a paint range that's actually for high traffic areas so it can be waged, seen it in wickes

Hi Kay, I think it depends on what you wanted in the way of style. Would you rather something 'busy', heavily patterned, soft, neutral, plain? I can see yellow in rooms off the side and the stairs and green in the window glass so I would stick with that combination of colours - with the white and maybe touch of grey. A combination of those in pattern or one of those as a single colour depending on the look you are after. You want it lined for warmth and probably weighted to keep it from blowing and moving too much when the door is opened. Going by some of the styling that is already going on I would consider going with a velvet type material - But I would really need to know more and see the style and fabrics in some of the other rooms before I could commit to that :) I hope that helps

How big is the porch as i might be tempted to put shoe storage there and go for the console idea which would look lovely. Cox and Cox also have some good storage solutions and Benches which are fairly narrow that you could dress up.
