A brick paper would look good. I'd personally go for white/grey given your wall and floor colour. I papered my son's room in this paper from a s creation at decor supplies (it has gone up £5 a roll in a few month though..). It's textured so looks good even though the pics don't show it. It also hangs really well as it was my first attempt at papering and the walls are seriously out. You can accessorise in any colour you want then really.

It would also be helpful to know what you do not like about the tiles.. are they too light? does it make the room too flat? what specifically do you not like? Okay, so I did put together some different floor examples for you with tiles and with luxury vinyl, which will be warmer underfoot. Just to give you an idea of different colours that I think will look good. But of course I can only judge from online pics, so it's no guarantee that they will really go together. I would always get samples together in the space they are going in, if at all possible. Anyway... hope it helps. I turned your kitchen door/worktop pic upside down, since that will be the way you'll see it, worktop above kitchen door. It looks a bit odd, but there we are. I think a medium or light warm grey will look good.

Look for solid panels? Coated aluminium, pvc. Or perhaps simply a hard plaster and (satin gloss) white paint on the lower half, pale grey (matte) on top half and ceiling? An accent tile behind the loo? Or a bit darker? Though personally I wouldn't mind an all-white loo either. A statement piece (art, poster, wood carving, colored ceiling) would add interest. Cloakrooms can be fun, but simple is fine too. I hope these examples inspire you.
