Comments (18)Both of those French doors look lovely. We also have French doors to consider but have opted for pattern 10s for those because each doors is quite narrow at 24". We aren't keen on having the matching pattern 10s for the single glazed doors because I think it might end up looking a bit plain. So I guess I just need to decide on door 2 or 3 to go with door 1 - why is it so hard!...See MoreReplace white internal doors with Oak ?
Comments (19)Even though I am a fan of oak doors and I like how they look in most cases, in this case, it would be a bit excessive. They would not match the general atmosphere in the house that is so light and even a little Victorian. You may try and install some small 1930s internal doors made of oak and see for yourself. It might work if you choose the correct color. I would paint it too creamy white, so it does not stand out much. It’s up to you, and you must decide what you like the most. Assuming the tv fits (as the shelf needs to be wider), I’d go for a slightly shorter unit than you currently have as it looks too close to the door and side table. You could add art over the side table, something a bit more than half the height of the mirror although I might get the shelf first. I’d also add art in the alcove. Again personal opinion but I might continue the blue on each wall to disguise the tv...See MoreJonathan
