Show us your favourite mug!
Comments (10)Bone china mug. Has to be light bone china. Small mug/large cup size - 150mls. Have a supply of bone china mugs in my house as well as standard pottery. I also have supplied homes that I regularly visit with fine bone china mugs. Tea does not taste the same out of pottery. OH likes an old heavy bog standard NHS cup.... no breeding or class!!...See MoreWhat's your favourite home feature?

Is it that antique side table that you found at a market, your brand new sofa or even a little trinket box that holds a wealth of memories? Share your comments and ideas! Discovering what others love about their space is the perfect way to get inspired....See MoreWhat's your favourite home decor feature colour this season?
Comments (0)Imagine you are designing a fresh new look for your livingroom areas. You want it neutral for longevity, but you also want accents of gorgeous colour splashed around to bring it alive... So you go shopping for accessories... a cushion, or a wall paper feature, a painting to bring a room to life, or something else... What colour do you go for in that accent piece?...See MorePOLL: Favourite room in your home
Comments (5)The sitting room. It's what made me want the house - it's larger than I'd hoped for, overlooks the back garden, has an original 1920s fireplace (which I love), original picture rail and has reasonably tall ceilings. It has a great feel - everyone visiting says so - which makes it very easy to relax in. A close second is bedroom two - smaller than the principal bedroom, it too has a great feel and I love its slightly quirky shape. The downside is that it overlooks a hugely busy road so it's hard to sleep in there ... looking forward to the day when I can replace the windows (original wood) with double, perhaps even triple, glazed glass also in wood....See MoreEmmanuelle
