Console table mirror or artwork and what size please?
Cd I have your ideas for this very simple console table please . If I go for a mirror should it be rectangular or round ? I assume we should keep it simple so as not to overwhelm the table how high and wide should it be ? How high from the console do I place it. Opposite is cupboards and so nothing to reflect I was wondering about the kartell ghost mirror or is that too boring? Sorry there are so many questions I am confused and going around in circles. This is the final part of my total refurb which has a very simple but sophisticsted Italian feel.

Comments (14)If you want your mirror to stand out or to create more of a feature why don't you paint the middle third of the wall a deep navy, darkish but warm grey or even a darker shade colour of your chest of drawers? 8 years agoHello Crittee I agree with Sort our Stuff - The centre of the mirror should be positioned at eye level. As people's height varies, I have always had them installed for clients so the centre of the mirror is 1.5mts from the floor. Sometimes on a console table it looks best to have it slightly closer to the table. Here's a few interesting ideas from West Elm.
What is the length of your console? If it's around 100cm to 120cm then a 76cm mirror would work. I''d prefer a group of mirrors like this below. The gold frames would work well with your timber work. Maybe your lamp is a little small for this table and a group of vases or ceramics would look better. Or add a round mirror like these two examples not rectangular.
Plus add a collection of vases or ceramics if you like a splash of colour as a highlight
