Curtain ideas

I have chosen these two bedding sets which I love. I have plain white large wardrobes going in along with a white bed,hence the bright bedding.
I'm stuck as to what colour carpet and curtains to go with.
Ideas also for the curtains as I have a large radiator under the window which cannot be covered when it's on. I don't really like blinds so any help would be appreciated please.

Although it's not usually my kind of thing, I love the geometric wallpaper in the photo. The only problem would be where to put it as one long wall of it might be a bit much! If you did use it you could then pick out one of the colours from the wallpaper for painting the rest of the room. You could go for one of the lighter colours but I also think one of the deeper blue / teal colours could also work really well especially with accessories in the yellow to lift it.

Hi there, As you mention the recess is an issue, you could either fit outside the recess or choose an option called PerfectFit. These blinds are available as Roller, Pleated and Venetian styles and clip into the uPVC window frames and become an integral part of the window. Alternatively, you could have Roman blinds like Daisy suggests, but fit them higher than the windows outside the recess. You'd also get more light when they are pulled up too as they'd stack outside of the window itself. A few options there - PerfectFit blinds really are clever so I'd urge you to have a look.
