Thanks Jonathan. I’m not totally adverse to the yellow and perhaps your right less yellowish window might help crisp up. I like the warmth statement and blending with greenery that current colour has but it needs painting badly and so having moved in last year feel need to make a change and loose yellow. I suppose as it is tired and everything in the house is either yellow or green (avocado) and tired!!! I’ll look at greys with off white windows as you suggest......

My kitchen is painted a duck egg blue too. I have cream units, oak worktops and a white ceramic sink. I agree with colourhappy to get the kitchen fitted, fit the worktop and sink then look at painting the walls, although your wall colour is soft and will probably go well. I’d go for a white worktop, with veining if you want some pattern, then go for a white sink. Black just wouldn’t go with the soft colours and they never look clean, especially if you have hard water. Although I love my duck egg walls I’m going to paint them F&B Oval Room Blue, which is a darker version. Just fancy a change! This is a corner of my kitchen.

I agree with the others - go for it! It’s going to look fab! I like the dull greens more than the more foresty greens, I had a bathroom painted that colour many years ago, and I think it’s less likely to go out of fashion. It’s verging on being a dark neutral.

Hi Lauren Roberts, if you have been looking at Slaked Lime 105, have you taken a look at Slaked Lime Mid 149? It is a soft neutral with a bit more warmth. Another option you could explore is using Studio Green again to create a link between the island, this would create a cohesive look. It looks and sounds like you're going to have a fabulous space!
