Do you like pink?
Comments (57)Hi, there's a common mistake about people asking if you like this colour or not, this decor object or another, or what's the best colour for my space. It all depends on what you want to achieve. In this case, according to the style and furniture selection, this pastel pink is such a nice touch. It's not about the colour, it's about pastel. If the owner would have chosen a blue or green pastel the result would be the same. At this point, with the style and features chosen, it's just a matter of personal taste to choose between certain pastel colours. Even though I don't like this style or soft pink, I must say it's a very good job as the space harmonious, soft and warm, with a good style balance (not too classic nor modern). Comments (11)Hiya, What a lovely space you've created - you must be so pleased! A little bit of advice for your blind - Fauxwood is a perfect material for a bathroom as it's easy to wipe clean and won't warp in steamy conditions. And to get the shutter look you speak about, choose tape instead of cords with your wide slats. You'll get a similar effect at a fraction of the price. Good luck, Zoe...See Morebathroom blind

Comments (1)I need to finish my bathroom. I've added a few other touches since the photos but would like to hear other ideas for completing the space. Haven't got round to installing a blind yet (god help the neighbours!) . Thinking roller blind but what colour? It's a really dusty, small space so venitians def not practical. I also need storage. Under the basin space is useful but not enough. Only other space is above the loo. Don't want open shelving. Possibly a tall slimline wall mounted cupboard, but not sure whether to try and match basin/wc unit or go for a contrast? Don't think a mirrored cabinet would work because with would be at right angles to the large mirror. Oh, and would you paint/gilt this? I've lived with it like this for a few months and like it but don't know if a gilt effect would add more warmth? I'll be very grateful for your suggestions....See More- 10 years ago
