I need ideas 4 arrangements for a small room dt'll be used for d main time for my fashion designing something not too overpriced maybe? Will be grateful if i get an answer. Thanks & Godbless

Have you thought of rearranging the furniture so the tv isn't the focal point? Furniture against walls can make a room appear smaller. If the budget permits I would add a coffee table to bring furniture into the middle of the room. I would also add a mirror to the dining area to bounce light and maybe install a low hanging pendant light over the table. I would also choose a neutral coloured rug as using a single colour for an item becomes the focal point. Grey is a good modern neutral for walls. If you want to use paper on a smaller wall choose a small pattern that won't date unless you don't mind repapering to keep it up to date. There are some really fantastic papers around at the moment such as chinoiserie, bold contemporary and typography but it depends on your preferred style? Maybe use plain (not patterned as this may date or your taste will change) velvet or silk curtains to soften the room. Use different colours and textures for the accessories to avoid block colours as per comment above. Pattern/interest can also be added in the form of wall art.

What kind of wood is it? If it’s real mahogany consider stripping it first. Unvarnished mahogany can be a soft nearly blush pink tone that’s really lovely just oiled. If you don’t like it you can always paint it later.

Hi Saqib! No worries! I didn't want to misunderstand :) When I'm using Houzz with clients, I tend to search 'small bathroom' , 'compact bathroom' or 'tiny bathroom' generally. However, as when using Pinterest, use Houzz to look for inspiration rather than a 'finished look'. For example, when looking at images, don't be looking for the bathroom you want, but pick out bits that you like in each image (or skip them if you don't like anything!) and build a moodboard. Eventually, you'll be able to look at those images and see the features and design ideas you like. If you can upload dimesions - even a rough sketch - to show where doors and windows are, that may also help designers suggest ideas to you :) Hope this helps! - Adam

some suggestions to get you started…. To unify the room 4 tables with 4 table lamps either side of the sofas would work. (This would not preclude a tall reading light in addition i dont think) Picking out colours from the picture would lift the room and tie in with the door colour,…in cushions and lampshades and soft filter light bulbs. if you can move the tv forward and place some greenery behind that would bring the room more square. Possibly lightening the mirror frame to tone in with the fireplace….
