Comments (5)Thank you Carolina! Some great stuff on Laredoute, I don't know how I missed them when searching online. I do like the Archivita system, it's pretty much identical to the CB2 shelving, just a shame the shelves aren't white. Could spray them maybe? Thank you again!...See MorePicking the right shade of white!
Comments (16)EE BB most paints that are described as white have some colour in them. Unless they are like the old deluxe ones (Apple white etc) they have the three primaries in, thus making them look a bit grey. However, if you look at a paint chart you will see that some look blueish, some greenish, some creamy (Yellow) and some taupe (red or red violet) etc. This will be more or less heightened by the aspect of a room and the amount of light it gets and then changed again artificial lighting. I teach colour theory and believe me, making sense of neutrals is the hardest thing. When it comes to colour, light is the most significant thing....See MoreNorth Facing living room
Comments (5)We have a north east facing room which we’re in the middle of knocking into another room to make a sort of morning sitting room. As the dining room end was already painted in Egyptian Cotton, and there was some paint left over, temporarily we’ve just used it to make the whole space more cohesive until we change the kitchen and it will all be painted over. Hopefully these photos will demonstrate how the light affects it. I find it very drab and dull in the dining area, but much fresher where the sofa is, as there are french doors not just a window. I’ve used Perfectly Taupe in a previous house, in a similarly orientated room, and much prefer it!...See More1 or 2 voile curtains on this door??
Comments (4)How about some window film instead if you are looking for privacy, and then that will leave space for a blind? Lots for sale online. However this will block the view. Not sure you have the space around the door for both voile and a blind....See Moremoiraford
