Whether it's morning, afternoon or evening, after being full body tackled by the dog, I immediately go to my bedroom and change into pj's. I've done this since I was a young teenager (over 25 years ago). I never wear 'outside clothes' inside unless I'm imminently expecting guests!

The orange painting stood out clearly. I saw it even before the green wall that took a much larger space and thinking of the colour wheel orange comes before green .Not surprising !!!!

In 2016 we were asked by a young family from Bradford on Avon to reinvent their kitchen space. We were recommend to the couple by another local designer and we started off by exploring different styles and options for the space. The family had an idea of what they were looking for but were unsure of the detail. After exploring different designs, we settled on a classic shaker style. The couple were looking to create a light elegant look and a shaker style worked perfectly. But's what's the 1st thing you notice?

The arched internal window - is this what you are calling the window mirror? As it isn't mirrored as you can see through it. Very white, very bust space.

I noticed the dog pictures first, perhaps because they look so unusual and as I have a dog maybe my eyes are pre-programmed to find them! Saying that, the bath is pretty unusual too but it took me a while to find that amidst all the other clutter!

Initially it was the window within the broken wall, then the dog picture. As a photographer and now in interiors, red is the most dominant colour which will always draw your eye.
