Bathroom tiles

The floor tiles are a very light cream

The walls are beige - tile effect boards

I want to replace the wall boards with tiles but don't want to go light cream

What other wall tile colours would blend with the floor tiles to create a WOW factor ??

My style is whites & silver - but don't know of this will match

I think you need to post pics as it will aid the thought process. Unfortunately, whites and silvers do not usually go with cream. White and cream don't mix. You could possibly get some warm greys to mix with the creams, but white, No.

I agree with MATH that photos will help us to see what could or couldn't work, but I disagree about white & cream not matching.
When mixed well, it's lovely.

Hello. What did you decide on in the end? I have non bevelled metro tiles on the walls and trying to decide if I should do a hex mosaic for the floor, perhaps slightly larger than the penny size.

I love the green and white tiles, keep them, theyre what you wanted. If swapping the larger 'white' tiles is not an option then live with them. Grout them all the same for simplicity (probably white). When the room is complete and dressed it will look different. We had similar, used a bathroom satin version of a white paint we have always loved in matt emulsion. In our bathroom light it looks slightly green and therefore made out white tiles look slightly pink, we were gutted! Couldn't stomach repainting straight away as the bathroom and floor had been fitted. We have lived with it a few months now. While I'm still not keen on the 'satin' finish of the bathroom paint (we didn't know you could get matt bathroom paint!) The colour differences really don't seem as prominent as they once were. Try not to worry. We said 'if it still bothers us in a year'.

My favourite tile formations are hexagonal or stacked, so how about large format hexagonal for the floor and shower walls, or stacked for the shower area? Here’s some ideas, all quite colourful, but of course available in more neutral shades too.

I like the blue - and for me, I think I would prefer to replace the border tiles with the same. However I appreciate it can be really tricky to find the exact tile! As an latter native I would consider maybe using a wood effect slatted style tile like these - and I would also get the tiler to tile the bath panel and the boxing in around the sink.

Still disagreeing about the white and cream. I genuinely think the bathroom above would have looked nicer with a pale silver green or pure white on the wall in place of the cream paint. I also dislike the wooden bath tray, it would have been better in chrome to match the taps, towel rail, handles on the shower and the stool. Each to their own, it would be a boring place if we all agreed!
