RAL colour of the doors?

Hi, I love the colour of the frames, could you tell me the RAL colour please as I am doing a similar project and would love to use this colour. Thanks

Hi Rachael. Sorry for the delayed reply. This is actually a rendering of the proposed extension which is due to commence this summer. The RAL colour you see on the doors and windows here are closest to RAL9007.

Do they have to be tilt and turn windows? My mum had them in her house. The frames need to be wide to house the mechanism. I prefer casement windows.

Colours look a lot lighter on the outside of a property to the inside. It depends on how much contrast you want and how traditional you want it to look. Cool greys can look urban but crisp, yellow greys (such as Light grey 17) look quite Cotswold, natural and lovely with stone. I like Little Greene Colours best, they seem to have some 'gaps' that F&B don't do. For example, Slaked Lime by Little Greene is a yellow grey, but muted enough to not to too colourful, I would be tempted to start there and use it as a benchmark for other colours.
