POLL: TV in the bedroom - yay or nay?
Comments (51)I had a TV in my bedroom for most of my adult life, because I was living in a house share or a studio. Whenever I've lived in my own home - which I have for the last fifteen years - and had a separate bedroom, I've not had a TV in the bedroom. I haven't had one for the last eight years and I would hate to have one again. It's sort of intrusive and it has a negative impact on my sleep. I have a radio next to my bed and will listen to that quietly because it can be soothing. I love watching TV, just not where I sleep....See MorePOLL: Non-slip shower stickers - yay or nay?
Comments (13)Believe it or not I saw a small sized shower non slip mat in white with vertical or horizontal lines depending on mat placing in the shower . I am a true believer in safety first!! How many people will come into your bathroom to pass judgement?? I've fallen in my one person shower had a massive bruise for over a week, it could have been so much worse !? Look around to find a non slip bath mat you may be surprised at the stylish ones around now. Jmo limrie ☺️...See MorePOLL: En suite bathroom - yay or nay?

I rather prefer the idea of designing with longevity in mind.. It's less about being fashionable but more about what is right for the space and clients needs, likes, budget and so forth.. I think this is not a symbiotic relationship between shower and closet and poses no real advantage as you can easily create a luxurious bathroom or shower room with a nearby closet area that is completely separate and moisture free.. It is though, entirely a matter of personal taste, but perhaps all that is needed is a degree of further separation which houses the shower and thus the resulting moisture is contained.. : ))...See MoreSonia
