Internal doors are the topic of the day! Do you prefer to stay traditional with wood panelled, get country with barn, industrial with crittall or clean and contemporary with a tall flush door? Your vote doesn't have to necessarily reflect which you have in your home, or which style you prefer generally, just which photo you find most appealing!

Comments (14)I like much more about the holiday chalet Whitsand Bay than the others, although I would have to choose different cabinet doors, paint almost everything a colour rather than white, and have more panes in my windows. But I very much like the choices of shelves rather than wall cabinets, the mix of beadboard and tiles on the walls, the hanging light fixtures rather than built-in downlight (which I abhor), the Belfast sink, the cushioned bench seating, the open beamed ceiling, the farmhouse table, the adorable wee range. I think you might end up devaluing your house if you took out all the original features such as the doors, latches etc. I think you need to experiment with some colours for the walls and look at replacing the carpet which is a bit of a cold grey colour. Also have you looked into the history of the house as I don’t think the leaded lights look like original arts and crafts style to me!...See MoreDark skirting and architrave with wooden internal doors?
Comments (13)Yes architrave and skirting works well in the wall colour. Makes the ceiling higher and you don’t have the contrast with white skirting boards which can make a room feel smaller too. Or your original suggestion could work, I just wasn’t keen on the actual colours personally but I’m not great with colour 😂...See More
