We installed a mirrored splash-back when we renovated our apartment and made the ground floor open plan. A year on, we are very happy with it- it draws more light into the kitchen, reflects the marina outside and although it shows up water splashes from the sink, think about wiping it down just as you would the countertop. You wouldn't go days without wiping down the countertops to keep them hygienically clean, so why would you spend 30 seconds more to wipe away the water splashes?

Antiqued glass? Be aware that it is really low chance that the antiqued mirror splashback will be toughened. Most of the companies cannot replicate the antique mirror on a toughened glass, so make sure to get the written confirmation from the company that the splashback is toughened. If it is not, then it will not last longer than 2 weeks, to be honest, it is too easy to smash it accidentally with a pan. Hi Nahella, we used made2measure and they were very reasonable but we had 4 panels rather than one piece (they have a max width of around 1000mm from memory). Worked out about £300 for a 3.4m run and looks great (imo!)
