Mirrored Splashback

I'm looking at getting a mirrored splashback for my kitchen. I've seen lots that cover a small area - behind the range & sink but I'm thinking about using it to cover a larger area. Has anyone done this?Can someone recommend a supplier? I'm based in Manchester so would prefer someone in the North West.

Just remember that mirrors double everything- so if it’s a little bit messy - the mirror will make it a lot messy !!!!

Mirrors anywhere are great, as long as you are tidy ... any mess is doubled up instantly ! Yes the hob looks too close to the tall cabinet - and if there’s wall to left of sink - it’s a bit close to that too ( think elbow room)

I am building a small but stylish (I hope) kitchenette alcove using Naked Kitchen cabinets and a corian worktop with integrated sink. I want to run a copper or mirrored worktop around the alcove which will have to incorporate slots for electric sockets. Does anyone have ideas for good outlets? We're in London. Thanks!

Hello. I’m considering installing a toughened mirrored splashback behind our hob. I have had some feedback that the toughening process can lead to the mirror giving a slightly distorted reflection. I wondered if anybody had any experience or thoughts on this? Thanks!

Hi Nahella, we used made2measure and they were very reasonable but we had 4 panels rather than one piece (they have a max width of around 1000mm from memory). Worked out about £300 for a 3.4m run and looks great (imo!)

We used Taylor's glass based in Stockport and were very happy with the service http://taylorsglass.co.uk//
Not sure what their largest size would be though.

We're based in the west midlands, and can make toughened antique mirror splashbacks to a maximum size of 3m wide x 1m high.
