Hi,
I have purchased a 3 sided peninsula gas fire (1000 x 400) to go along one side of our lounge. The installation instructions state that the false wall above the appliance (to conceal the flue) must not rest on the fire. My question is, as this is a 3 sided fire, how do you engineer a solution to keep the fireplace up without it resting on the fire? Is there some sort of frame you can buy where it would hang off the wall? We were going to use fire board as a plasterboard but I am guessing that is heavy? Any help would be much appreciated!
