Comments (8)Hi Daniel, what a great space! Looks like it's coming along nicely. Were you planning to do the panelling yourself or get a joiner in to complete this? Because the walls are different heights and widths it will just be a case of trying to cut it off at the best point, or only panelling up to a certain height to level out the difference. You could also leave a deliberate non-panelled border? If you're not 100% set on the panelling, what about using one alcove for a picture gallery and the other with simple floating shelves. Both make great use of the space (offering more storage with the shelves) and by using them for different things it hides the asymmetry. When they get used for the same purpose or have the same décor (such as the panelling) because they're different shapes, the comparison highlights the differences.
