Help with beam on beam design

I'm raising the roof of an old farmhouse by placing beams on top of the existing beams with a gap between them (obviously they will be attached at places). The beams will be exposed (It's an alpine chalet property) so I'm matching up the beams using reclaimed beams It's the simplest way to do this and also has VAT benefits on the renovation. I'm searching for pictures of completed properties that have used this method so I can get a clear picture of what it will look like. The nearest I can find is the one below. Thanks
