Not sure the owners purchased it through an antique dealer. I would suggest antique shops as a start. Good luck

You really do need grout for your backsplash, for a proper job that is waterproof and easy to clean. Having said that, I once did a "just for now" refreshing of my tiny kitchen to hold it over for a while until I could afford to totally gut it and start over. I didn't want to bother grouting in some inexpensive tiles as a backsplash because I thought they would only be there for a short time. I painted the backsplash area a similar colour to the tiles, so the stark white plaster would not show through the cracks between the tiles and then lightly glued the tiles to the wall, butting them up directly to one another. Little did I know that I was about to get laid off from my job and it would be 8 years before I could afford to do the renovation I desired. The ungrouted tile backslash held up beautifully and because I was careful, remained dry and clean for that whole time. I just finally did the kitchen reno this past winter and they stayed stuck tight to the plaster as I tore it out. :-)

Hello Karen, The copper tap is by Vola... In order to get it for that price it may be that you need to enlist the help of a lovely designer who might be able to offer you trade on it especially if you're doing the whole bathroom but I feel that this price is still under cost price to them. If you included something else or more of the same tap range for bath and or shower rose fittings you can then start to bring the pricing down individually.. It could also be that multiple purchases across their umbrella range bring the pricing down further.. A white (Off white) Concrete basin like the one I sent you on the other thread would be about £760 ex vat. I am saying this as I have a contact that deals with Vola and Kast... Should you be interested in a sink too... : ))

Round here ( our house ) everything is bespoke, as in hand made. What we'd do is buy a matching pair of jardiniere stands ( wooden plant stands ). Paint them and then mount a beautiful basin on top:- It would give a unique and similar effect. My wife used to specialise in creating this sort of thing, she has a vivid imagination and i'm left making them! She's stuck on making fake branches & twigs to go across trellis in the garden with mock copper leaves presently! ( sometimes i really despair! ) I'm sure it will look beautiful when she's finished, it always does.
