Best Cooker Hood?

I am interested in either an industrial-looking cooker hood or one that can be easily hidden. Anyone know the best options for quality/price?

Thanks for the reply OnePlan. I have a north facing kitchen which is why I chose the white gloss, if I go with a black hood will it retract from the goal I am trying to achieve? I need to bring as much light and reflection as possible into the kitchen. Thanks again.

I'm not sure on the extraction ratio but I couldn't live without a powerful, quiet range hood that vents outside. I think especially in a open plan kitchen, your going to want it as quiet as possible. My last one had the motor outside, mounted on the roof in the vent/chimney. It was so quiet and a pleasure to have on high if required. It was placed over neff induction hob.

There are other options than just getting a free generic design done... we offered a design service. We don’t sell any products, have no commissions coming in from anyone, so are totally focused on getting the design right to suit you ... then you shop around with that design and compare like for like - and buy from whomever you like best ! It’s not free, no. We have several levels of service , but even the most expensive is only about the cost of a good dishwasher, for most average sized kitchens. Shopping around could save you thousands.

They work or they wouldn’t manufacture them. Whether or not they are aesthetically pleasing is a matter of opinion. Personally I think they’re ugly and when you have a newly fitted kitchen and it is all streamlined and then you have what looks simmilar to a TV slanted on the wall it spoils the overall look. If you want the streamlined then you need to look at an integrated or built in one. Don’t forget to look at the noise level and the extraction rate for effectiveness.
