Eurovision song contest - love or loathe?

The annually occurring Eurovision song contest seems to be quite divisive - people tend to either love it or hate it!
Some go all out for Eurovision, so much so that watching it has become somewhat of a tradition, with barbecues, themed parties or general gatherings to celebrate. For others, it barely registers as a blip on their radars, and comes and goes without them noticing!
