Comments (23)You have a lovely and tasteful space! I do agree with Camilla that large bold painting would look great as well as add a contemporary touch. For example something like this (with frame matching the table or the chairs and a satin gloss finish of the painting): Get in touch If you would like me to send any suggestions!...See MoreKitchen Cabinet before and after
Comments (9)I don’t agree. I think fitting cabinets to the ceiling can make the ceiling feel lower, feels like an American Aesthetic rather than a British one, means that you can’t read the proportions of the room as well and therefore can make the room seem smaller, it can highlight ceilings that are wonky and you loose opportunities for over cabinet lighting which can contribute more to the atmosphere of a kitchen than ceiling spotlights....See MoreBathroom Finishing Touches
Comments (10)Hi, Thanks for all the replies so far! @honeymummy thanks I think you are right about the mustard - I was going to buy some mustard towels but went for white in the end! Still could be good to have one or two. The plant should survive it loves humidity and there's a small east facing window :) @carolina thanks! Great advice on where to place art. I think I'll hold off on a shelving unit at the moment as I don't really need the storage yet. That little diver hook is great. I guess two hooks near the shower makes more practical sense. I was originally thinking of something like this but it would have to be on the other wall sitting on the step but unfortunately not as practical as you couldn't just grab a towel coming out of the shower. I think I've found two art prints for the wall opposite the toilet: They've got a fun nautical vibe (although that octopus is a little bit creepy!). Not sure what would look good on the toilet wall but something big and maybe with more colour. @KK1000 A stool would be great but the bathroom is too small sadly. I think a shelf under the mirror may eventually be needed but I'm not sure about extending it wider than the wash stand? @fran11home: thanks! I should have taken a photo of the light it is just a ceiling lamp with three spotlights. It would be nice to have something a bit more interesting. I don't really want to re-wire at the moment so can't have lights either side of the mirror. They would look good though! I should have done that before plastering and painting. It seems the black toilet seat is 50/50 I was thinking it's a bit more traditional and would match the shower but white also looks fine. Thanks again!...See MoreArtist seeking Help?
Comments (6)glad you like the work. its taken more years than I care to remember to get to a stage where I've really started to developed a style I'm happy with that people seem responsive to but also having the studio finished and at my disposal now so the production of the prints and artwork is a lot more of a fluid process than ever before. it does feel like a lots of the elements which will make this work are are coming together quite well. art republic in Brighton sell some work for me and I have quite a few people on my mailing list who take 10 - 20 prints a time off me often for retail themselves but also for use in interior projects etc etc. the website does ok but as. I mentioned in my previous posts I'm really now focussed on working out how best to draw the right audience to make it work on a more consistent level. as with anything its possible its just a lot of trial and error and also paid traffic can be quite costly so I'm having to do the little tests with traffic when funds are available from sales........ instagram has been good though so far. I just find it difficult to focus on the creative and production side of things whilst having to break my attention away to deal with the social media...... cheers for the reply anyway.... much appreciated... www.glasssiren.co.uk...See MoreJ Tommy
