Comments (1)I would go for satin every time, particularly if it's a DIY decorating job. Gloss has to be perfect when applied or every blemish shows up when the light hits it, whereas even a less than perfect finish in satin is visually more forgiving. Also avoid oil based paints like the plague, as even the best of them start out white and yellow quite quickly.
